My pottery studio is on “Gut Friedrichstein”, a beautiful farm home to horses, chickens, cats and dogs, right in Sankt Augustin. If you live in Bonn, you can reach it in about 15 minutes by car or S-Bahn, and it’s a short walk from Siegburg — a town known across Germany as a pottery city.

Whether you want to hone your wheel throwing or you’re just starting out and want to make your first own cup, I offer one-on-one sessions tailored to your goals.

Firing services

Have a wheel at home and need a way to fire your pieces? Depending on capacity, I can often fire additional ceramic pieces for others. My settings:

• Bisque firing (1st firing): 950 °C — €8 / kg
• Glaze firing (2nd firing): up to 1240 °C — price depends on size and load

• The number of pieces and their approximate size

Ceramics is unpredictable, and cracks or breakage can happen during firing. I handle every piece with care, but I can’t guarantee results — especially for work made outside my studio. If something happens, I’ll always tell you openly.
